Chief Administrative & Compliance Officer

Mitchell Cox is the Chief Administrative Officer and Compliance Officer at Relias Healthcare. He manages risk, insurance programs, compliance, and legal operations across the organization while supporting treasury, investment management, and human resources. Mitchell previously served as RH’s Chief Financial Officer from 2019 to 2024, guiding the company through sustained year-over-year revenue growth and expansion into new states and service lines, while navigating the unprecedented financial and operational challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. He is an Eagle Scout, a member of the Healthcare Compliance Association, and a certified public accountant licensed in the state of Mississippi.

Before joining Relias Healthcare, Mitchell served as Chief Financial Officer at Merit Health Rankin, a hospital in Brandon, Mississippi, and as Assistant Chief Financial Officer at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg. He previously held financial and revenue management positions at Community Health Systems in Nashville and began his career in public accounting at KPMG. Mitchell completed his Master of Taxation and Bachelor of Accountancy with a minor in Economics at the University of Mississippi.

Mitchell and his wife Martha, along with their three children, are proud to call Tupelo home. When taking a break from supporting a large and growing organization, Mitchell and his family are active members at Lawndale Presbyterian Church where he serves as a deacon.  As a family, they enjoy spending time at the lake, in the woods, or at the ball fields.
