Luke West is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Relias Healthcare, where he leads enterprise strategy and is responsible for the organization’s overall performance and long-term growth. Since co-founding Relias in 2016, he has guided the company’s expansion across the Gulf States, building a nationally recognized hospital-based physician services platform centered on redefining the clinical practice experience for providers, hospital partners, and patients.
Under his leadership, Relias Healthcare has been recognized three times on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America. Today, the organization serves more than 600,000 patients annually across five states and employs over 600 team members.
Prior to founding Relias, West served as Director of Emergency Medicine Practice, Support and Patient Logistics at North Mississippi Health Services in Tupelo, Mississippi. In that role, he helped implement Toyota Production System principles to improve emergency department throughput and patient flow. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles with Schumacher Clinical Partners after beginning his career in frontline hospital operations as an ED Technician, Unit Secretary, and Care Coordinator.
West holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University. He has been recognized by the American College of Healthcare Executives with the Regents Award for Early Career Healthcare Executive and has been named a UAB Blazer Fast 40 and Top 25 Alumni honoree. He serves on the boards of the Mississippi Telehealth Association and Judah’s Superkids Memorial Fund and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Emergency Medicine Practice Management Association.
