COVID-19 Update: No Matter What. No Matter When.
As the situation of COVID-19 rapidly changes, our hope is to keep our communities up-to-date on our processes at Relias Healthcare and any legislation changes as they arise. Relias Healthcare continues to stay steadfast to our mission statement: “No Matter What. No Matter When” throughout this ever-changing pandemic.
We are currently still in phase one of our three-phase staffing matrix. Our providers remain asymptomatic and each of our facilities are able to be fully staffed. However, if this situation changes, we are fully prepared to implement the next phases of our staffing matrix should any of our providers or APCs become symptomatic.
We have seen encouraging success in our Covid-19 testing and screening measures. Specifically, our team at DCH-Regional implemented an innovative drive through testing center to prevent cross-contamination in the Emergency Department. Additionally, North Mississippi Medical Center-Tupelo has also been designated as a drive-through testing center by the Mississippi Department of Health. The requirements to receive this test are a fever of at least 100.4 and severe cough or chest pain. This comes as an effort from MSDH to help get wide-scale testing to those who need it most.
Lastly, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our communities for following the CDC regulations. We ask that you continue to stay home to help stop the spread. The overall health of our providers and patients is in your hands — please continue to abide by these regulations until further notice from the CDC.
