About Us
How We Started
Relias Healthcare was founded in 2014 by a group of emergency medicine physicians in partnership with a regional health system, with a shared goal of aligning clinician needs with organizational priorities. After nearly two years of collaboration, the company launched with a focus on people-first leadership, operational excellence, and local engagement.
In 2016, Relias became the sole emergency medicine management partner for the largest non-metropolitan hospital in the U.S.—a milestone that sparked continued expansion across Mississippi and surrounding regions. From small rural facilities to regional referral centers, Relias developed a reputation for improving clinical performance, turning around underperforming programs, and building trusted hospital partnerships.
At its core, Relias is committed to unscheduled care—being there for patients on the day no one plans to go to the doctor. We prioritize our people and purpose with a values-driven culture: Clinicians are our Priority. Hospitals are our Partners. Patients are our Purpose. People are our Passion.
Our mission is to cultivate environments where clinicians thrive and deliver quality, reliable care, while providing hospitals with innovative solutions that drive better outcomes. As we continue to grow, we remain anchored to our vision—to be the standard for care delivery in our region, where every clinician wants to join us, every hospital seeks to partner with us, and every patient places their trust in us. Lean on us. No matter what. No matter when.

Our Leadership
Relias Healthcare’s leaders get it. Both our CEO and CMO got their start as unit secretaries in Emergency Departments and steer the company with the understanding that successful patient and family centered healthcare can only be achieved when the entire provider team is valued and given the resources they need.
What People Are Saying
Dr. Rea was excellent. She showed genuine concern and compassion, and was very knowledgeable. She took her time in the room with us, and even asked if she could get us anything when leaving the room. Very kind to us.
My doctor was also very friendly & comforting. I felt that she was very attentive & had genuine concern for my situation.
In my time as a combat medic and as a trauma specialist I worked with several doctors. Dr. Serio got the job done with a very high level of courtesy and professionalism that others have and/are lacking in.
