Dr. Granovsky is an emergency physician who is also a certified coder holding both a CPC and CEDC. Dr. Granovsky is a past Chair of national ACEP’s Reimbursement Committee, the course director for national ACEP’s Coding and Reimbursement course, is the editor of ED Coding Alert, and is prior Chair of ACEP’s National Coding and Nomenclature Advisory Committee. Dr. Granovsky is recognized nationally as an expert in emergency medicine coding and reimbursement and is a regularly featured speaker at National ACEP’s Scientific Assembly, multiple state coding and reimbursement conferences, and is on the faculty of ACEP’s National ED Director’s Course. Consistent with his unsurpassed expertise, Dr. Granovsky serves as the subject matter expert for, and is the editor of, the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) ED Specialty Coding Certification Exam.
