HR Specialist

Job purpose

Relias Healthcare is a physician staffing company seeking a temporary HR Specialist to join our team for a short-term assignment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various human resources functions, including benefits administration, data entry, and HR compliance.

Duties and responsibilities

Understanding our mission, vision, and values, the HR specialist will:

  • Assist with onboarding new employees, ensuring all required paperwork is completed and entered accurately.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
  • Assist with benefits administration tasks, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
  • Support HR compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR Manager or Director.



  • High school diploma required.
  • 2+ years of experience in human resources roles, with a focus on HR generalist functions, preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Working Location

The HR Specialist will work remote.


This is a temporary position expected to last 2 – 6 weeks
