Relias Healthcare, an Emergency Medicine and Custom Hospital Solutions Company is pleased to announce the official accreditation of their Nurse Practitioner Fellowship making it 1 of 19 NP Fellowships in the country.

The fellowship program’s primary clinical site is North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. It is a twelve-month program designed to develop recent graduate nurse practitioners to be emergency medicine providers. The curriculum is also designed to prepare nurse practitioners for the emergency medicine board exams.

The program consists of three main components-didactic sessions, rotations and journal club. Each of these components helps prepare the NPs for everything from everyday emergency practices to proper bedside care all the way to clinician burnout.

“We are excited that our Relias Emergency Medicine Fellowship is now recognized by the American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners,” said Bethany Garner, PA-C and Relias Healthcare Administrative Director for APP and Fellowship Programs. “The fellowship program provides post-graduate education for nurse practitioners interested in emergency medicine. The recognition by the AAENP will allow our fellows the ability to meet some of the requirements needed to take the Emergency Nurse Practitioner Examination. We are excited about the opportunity to train new graduate NP in the art of emergency medicine.”
