The Board of Advisors and Executive Team of Relias Healthcare announced today it has named Sumner Abraham, MD as Associate Chief Medical Officer. Abraham will transition into his new role immediately and oversee all Hospitalist Medicine functions of the organization as well as market oversight for Relias’s subsidiary, rhMed.

Previously serving as Corporate Medical Director for Hospitalist Medicine at Relias Healthcare, Abraham joins the executive team and moves to Mississippi from Charlottesville, Virginia, where he served as Chief Resident at The University of Virginia School of Medicine. A native of Mississippi, Abraham attended medical school at The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS followed by an internal medicine residency at UVA.
