Dr. David Hooker is a Mississippi native and ABEM Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Mississippi and attended medical school and residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Hooker is Regional Medical Director of emergency services for systems in central and south Mississippi. Having been a paramedic prior to attending medical school, he has strong interests in EMS and trauma and also enjoys working on improving front-line provider experiences / optimization of electronic health records.
