Dr. Kristina Vaughn is a Mississippi native and board-certified internal medicine physician with extensive experience in hospital medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Jackson State University and her medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she also completed her Internal Medicine residency after an internship in Internal and Preventive Medicine at Griffin Hospital in Connecticut. Dr. Vaughn’s clinical work focuses on inpatient care for medically complex patients, interdisciplinary collaboration, and improving care transitions between hospital and post-acute settings to support safer recoveries and reduce readmissions.
