Dr. Lisa Maurer has served as a physician partner with Emergency Medicine Specialists since 2011, following her return to her hometown in the Milwaukee area after completing medical school at the University of Minnesota and residency training at George Washington University. She currently serves as an officer for the Wisconsin Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), as well as a member of the Wisconsin Medical Society Council on Legislation.  

At the national level, Dr. Maurer is actively involved with several committees within ACEP and the Emergency Department Practice Management Association (EDPMA. Her professional interests focus on the intersection of health care financing and delivery systems, and she currently works as the CEO of ConsensioHealth RCM.
