Relias Healthcare is excited to announce the recent acquisition of Ouch! Urgent Care to expand its services in the unscheduled care space outside of the emergency room. 

“The acquisition of Ouch! Urgent Care positions our organization to continue to provide excellent unscheduled care, both at the hospital and now in the clinic setting,” said Luke West, CEO of Relias Healthcare. “This expansion highlights rh’s efforts to diversify in a continuous effort to support our providers, our partners, and our patients. 

Founded originally by Dr. Brian McCoy, Ouch! was born out of his dissatisfaction with seeing people wait long periods for relief. 

“Being a part of Relias opens the opportunity for other ER Physicians to back up the clinics we have to provide better service all the time. With Relias transitioning into ownership, the consumer won’t notice any changes. We are still a local, small business and will maintain close contact between providers. The main thing that will change is that we will provide better service and opportunity for patients!” says Dr. McCoy who will continue to be involved with Ouch!, serving as the clinic’s medical director. 

To celebrate the acquisition, Relias Healthcare and Ouch! will be hosting an open house event at the Tupelo clinic location, 1710 N Gloster St, Tupelo, MS 38804, on August 1st from 4:00-6:00 pm. The public is welcomed and invited to attend – there will be food, drinks, and giveaways.
